Lifeguard – Venetian Gondolier Program

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Gondola Experience at The Venetian Hotel and Casino is seeking qualified lifeguards for immediate positions for the Outdoor Gondolier Program. The program runs 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Responsibilities include the following:

Must maintain constant surveillance of both guests in the gondolas on the canal and spectators surrounding the canal; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the event of an emergency
Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
Must maintain a high standard of customer service
Must be able to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time
Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should possess the following:

Current CPR Certification
Current Life Saving Certificate
Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques
Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Must be able to work flexible hours
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, employees, and client
Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
This position is part-time/on-call- DOE-Hourly
